INDIANA NRC VOTES TO Ratify terrestrial invasive plant rule

On Tuesday January 15th, the Indiana Natural Resource Commission voted to follow the recommendation of the Public Hearing Officer to ratify the proposed rule. There are still a few more steps before the rule is in effect, more details here.

Indiana invasives initiative 

In 2018 SICIM is starting a brand new statewide project funded by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).  This 5 year project will work to develop and support Cooperative Invasive Species Management Areas (CISMAs) across the state.  For more information, check out our Invasives Initiative page.
